Patrick Anquetil, PhD, MBA

Dr. Patrick Anquetil is Portal Instrument’s CEO. He is a distinguished leader in the bioengineering field, renowned for developing world-class teams and successfully transitioning bioengineering enterprises from the conceptual stage to commercial success. Before establishing Portal, he co-founded two medical diagnostics companies: SynapDx and Aretais. His professional journey began as an equity research analyst at the boutique investment firm Susquehanna International Group, authoring and promoting equity research reports to portfolio managers and hedge funds. Dr. Anquetil is an accomplished academic, holding a Ph.D. in bio-instrumentation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an MBA from Harvard Business School, and master's degrees from ETH Zurich and the University of Tokyo. He holds several patents and his scientific work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications as well as mainstream media, including MIT Technology Review, Wired Magazine, PBS, and CNBC.

 
 

Michael Monovoukas, MBA

Michael Monovoukas is the co-founder and CEO of AcuityMD. Prior to launching AcuityMD, he was a Medtech entrepreneur. He also held a leadership role at PatientPing, a leading provider of care coordination software. Michael started his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised leading life sciences companies on growth and commercial strategy. Michael received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.A. in Public Policy and Finance from Princeton University.

 
 

Darius Shahida, MBA

Darius Shahida is Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Business Development Officer (SVP) at Butterfly Network, a company he took public in 2021, and where he leads M&A, capital raising, business development, and corporate strategy. While at Butterfly, Darius has been responsible for the launch of the company's AI Marketplace (Garden), Veterinary Business, Global Health Business and, more recently, the formation of its Advanced Semiconductor Business, Octiv.

In 2018, and while a student at Harvard Business School, Darius raised $250 million dollars for Butterfly Network - the largest medical imaging raise in history. In 2020, Darius led and negotiated Butterfly's $1.5BN Enterprise Value merger with Longview Acquisition Corp. and Larry Robbins, which resulted in the public listing of "BFLY" on the NYSE in Q1 of 2021. Since he joined Butterfly Network and 4Catalyzer in 2018, Darius has raised over $1 Billion in capital.

Darius holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S from Duke University, where he studied Neuroscience and Behavioral Economics.
