Joe Corkery, MD

Joe Corkery is the CEO and co-founder of Jaide Health. As a software engineer and physician, he has always been passionate about identifying realistic and meaningful ways to improve healthcare through technology.

He started his professional career in the pharmaceutical industry, first as a computational scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and then at OpenEye Scientific Software where he wore numerous hats across engineering, sales, marketing, business development, and operations. Most recently, he spent more than 8 years at Google as a product management executive where he co-founded Google Cloud’s Healthcare & Life Sciences organization and led its product team.

Joe received his MD from Harvard Medical School and his BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University. He is married with two kids and a dog, loves to travel, is cultivating a new passion for cycling, and learning to play the guitar.

 
 

Dominic King, MD, PhD

Dominic King is Vice President of Health at Microsoft AI, where he leads work to bring cutting-edge AI into consumer and clinical health experiences. A surgeon and health-tech founder by training, he’s focused on evidence-based ways to apply AI that improve patient outcomes and safety at scale.

He previously led health teams at DeepMind and then Google Health (UK) after co-founding Hark, a clinical task-management app developed at Imperial College London and later acquired by DeepMind; he subsequently held executive roles at UnitedHealth Group/Optum building clinical technology products.

Dominic trained as a surgeon at Imperial College London, where he remains an honorary lecturer, and completed a PhD in behavioural economics (and an MEd in surgical education). He earned medical/undergraduate degrees at the Universities of St Andrews, Manchester and Imperial. He is also a trustee at The King’s Fund.

 
 

David McMullin, MBA

David is the Chief Business Officer at Anumana, Inc., where he leads strategy and commercialization for ECG-AI software designed to enable earlier detection of cardiovascular disease and smoother clinical workflows. His work includes advancing partnerships and regulatory milestones around Anumana’s FDA-cleared ECG-AI algorithms and ecosystem integrations.

Previously, David served as Chief Strategy Officer at nference, and before that held senior commercial roles including Chief Business Officer at Aldeyra Therapeutics, Group Vice President for U.S. Internal Medicine at Shire, and Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations & Strategy at Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics.

David earned his MBA from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar) and a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University.

 
 

David Sontag, PhD

David Sontag is the CEO and co-founder of Layer Health, as well as a Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at MIT. His work centers on building AI systems that reason over clinical data to answer complex care questions and accelerate research.

Before founding Layer Health, David led the Clinical Machine Learning group at MIT. Earlier, he was on the faculty at NYU’s Courant Institute after a postdoc at Microsoft Research. His research spans machine learning, causal inference, and clinical applications, with widely cited contributions across these areas.

David received his PhD in Computer Science from MIT (awarded the George M. Sprowls thesis prize) and his BA in Computer Science from UC Berkeley; he joined MIT’s IMES/EECS faculty in 2017 and is affiliated with CSAIL and IMES.

 
 

Kaleigh Brauns

Kaleigh Brauns is a second-year MBA candidate at Harvard Business School. She has worked across advisory, investing, and operating roles in healthcare, with a focus on using data and AI to drive measurable impact.

Prior to HBS, Kaleigh spent three years in McKinsey’s healthcare practice leading large-scale transformations for providers; later joined the life sciences investing team at Gates Ventures, focusing on early-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia diagnostics; and held a go-to-market role at an AI bioinformatics company.

She is currently with a private equity firm that applies AI and advanced analytics to value creation across sectors. Her work centers on thesis development and market research, with a particular emphasis on healthcare and biopharma.

She earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, with majors in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Business Analytics. She is also the proud Social Chair of EC Section B.
